What a beautiful day to make a difference! Shoals FFA had the opportunity to do some clean up around some natural treasures of our county: Hindostan and Spout Springs. The kids really enjoyed the opportunity to serve our community. We had a ton of fun too!

We had a great time participating in the district x volleyball tourney today! Let’s start planning a cookout to wrap up the year and start planning for next!

This week we volunteered at the Martin County Humane Society. Socialization and exercise are so important to these sweet animals! Afterward, # we enjoyed Dairy Master!

Today we hosted the state FFA VP Calvin Myers. We brainstormed ideas, discussed events, developed our strengths, and showed him around our school farm.

We wrapped up FFA week with “drive your tractor to school day!” We also initiated our newest administrator with a close encounter with one of our school chickens.

Today, 8th grade ag students made dog treats for the humane society. We will be heading there in a couple weeks to volunteer. Homeroom classes played an FFA kahoot game, and young farmers got their tractors ready for “drive your tractor to school day” tomorrow!

Day 2 of FFA week. Middle school students shared their knowledge of hatching eggs with 2nd graders, and high schoolers participated in a truck show.
