Sunday evening delight

Been done hatching for a couple weeks now. Grow outs are coming along nicely! Have a lot more still under heat to get moved outside in the coming weeks. Overall it was good spring! I am undecided but I may fire up a couple incubators again in a little while to hatch out some more Blue Coppers and some Ermines.

Some chicks that hatched out over the weekend. A few more Black Tailed Reds, a couple solid Blacks, some Black Coppers for pullet orders this fall and a experiment I did by breeding my Zombie hen “Carol” (from the Walking Dead) to a Splash Copper rooster. 5 out of 5 of those chicks hatched. 4 of them look pretty similar to each other with the fifth one being gray in color. Some have feathered shanks and some don’t.
