Cheesy Carnivore Hot Sausage & Gruyere Dip
Ingredients
1 lb hot Italian sausage, casings removed
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1½ cups shredded Gruyere cheese
½ cup heavy cream
½ cup shredded Parmesan cheese
½ tsp garlic powder
¼ tsp black pepper
¼ tsp salt, or to taste
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Cook the sausage in a skillet over medium heat for 7–9 minutes, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain excess grease if needed.
Reduce heat to low and add the cream cheese and heavy cream.
Stir until the cream cheese is completely melted and smooth.
Add 1 cup of Gruyere and the Parmesan. Stir until melted and creamy.
Season with garlic powder, black pepper, and salt.
Transfer the mixture to a small baking dish.
Sprinkle the remaining Gruyere over the top.
Bake for 12–15 minutes, until hot, bubbly, and golden.
Rest for 5 minutes before serving.
