I wanted to share this interesting article with you about how to create wildlife habitats. We are very proud that Libby Maple is certified Bird Friendly and it's because of things like creating and leaving brush piles in the woods that we have been recognized.
Contrary to what you might think, cleaning the woods and forest floor is not necessary and it doesn't help the wildlife that are living in our forests. One of the best things you can do is to leave the loose branches and smaller logs in a pile. These piles create habitats for birds, snakes, rabbits and all kinds of woodland creatures.
