One thing I do for goslings until 2 weeks of age (or longer if leg problems) is puppy pads with shelf liner over that!

I've found puppy pads too slippery alone, especially the first week while they get their legs under them. It helps prevent slipping as they learn their legs with fast growing bodies and helps any splay legged babies that need a little extra traction. Now would pellets or shavings be better? Maybe. However, I typically don't keep goslings inside long; they either find their homes or get adopted in by my gaggle. So this method makes it easier to upkeep. Maybe this helps some others find their groove with gosling keeping too!

The shelf lining gets hosed off and washed every other day. It dries fast in the sun and the pen is cleaned again within 30 min. 😊

2 boy/girl pairs are available and 1 extra male that hatched yesterday, 3 days later than his hatch mates.

The pairs are ready for new homes today, hatched between Saturday and Sunday. I'm around hatchery rates for an idea, PM for more info if interested!

✨✨ IMPORTANT ✨✨

This is a hobby for me, that helps even the cost of keeping my flock and gaggle. I enjoy my birds immensely and do my best to give them the love and care they deserve. With that said, dozen prices have been reduced until molt. Eggs can be used for eating, hatching, however you wish. This is to help move eggs. Once January hits and colors are vibrant again, pricing will be back up for hatching season. I am unsure if I will run off season pricing for next year, dependant on how this goes. There are some stipulations though.

💥If I have to meet up over 30 min from me, it will be a minimum of 20 for meeting up/delivery fee on top of egg cost. Gas & my time are valuable, especially during summer break with my kids.
💥NO egg color requests, it's what is laid, as fresh as possible. If you want a custom dozen, it will be the normal fee. (20)
