We've been heads down on the build — and there's a lot to catch up on.

Since January we've cleaned out a possum-filled shed, knocked down walls, leveled the floors, threw a subfloor party with our community, built 26 parking spots, and delivered a 500-gallon grease trap.

None of this happens without great partners. American Bank has been with us from day one through the SBA process — we can't say enough about their support. And a special shoutout to Ricky Galloway with High Tide Consultants, our civil engineer. Ricky has been right there with us every step of the way — responsive, professional, and exactly the kind of person you want in your corner. True professionals are hard to find, and we found one.

Bruiser's The Hot Dog Place is coming to Covington, LA — and this post tells the whole story from Day 1.

Another big step forward for Bruiser’s The Hot Dog Place.

The grease trap has officially been delivered — a required piece for any restaurant, and another sign that things are moving in the right direction.

Little by little, this project is coming together.

We’re incredibly grateful for American Bank and their support through the SBA process. Having the right partners makes a huge difference when bringing a project like this to life.

More progress coming soon.

We took on the subfloor ourselves… and honestly, we’re learning as we go.

And then our community stepped in.

AFD donated the plywood.
American Bank and Kimberly Shirley showed up with pizza and water.
Our customers, family, and friends showed up ready to work.

This isn’t just construction.
This is community.

We are incredibly blessed. ❤️

🚗 Parking Lot Update at Bruiser’s The Hot Dog Place ✔️

26 parking spots and no parking issues like we had in Slidell! 🙌

Seeing this finished makes the project feel even more real. Easy access, plenty of space, and one less thing for our customers to worry about.
