Normally I’d be posting telling all of you beautiful people how excited I am to see you at the Athens, Tx Farmers Market this weekend. But this weekend is a little different!

This weekend we’re local to Grapeland! We’re meeting as many of the neighbors as possible at the 81st Annual Grapeland Peanut Festival!! This event is such a great time.

Saturday starts off with a parade and then folks head to the park for music, food, a huge carnival and vendor booths galore! We’ll be one of those vendors this year, selling our usual booth wares but also introducing ourselves to our neighbors.

We really hope to get the chance to meet you there!

Had to snap a picture with HONK for national goose day!! She and her 3 comrades are excellent at warning off trouble, and probably evil spirits judging by the strength of their collective call! Geese are neat animals, ours are no exception.
