At least 20 Mammoth Cave National Park employees are feeling the effects of sweeping federal job cuts put in place by the Trump administration.

Our very own, Derek Parham, spoke with a cave guide who was just 10 days from the end of her probationary employment period when she received an email that put an end to her dream career.

Goldenrods are in full bloom and our bees are taking it all in as they prepare for the winter! Goldenrods are a vital source of both nectar and pollen that is crucial for honey bees (and many other pollinators) after a hard summer of food scarcity! 🐝

😍😍What a difference 3 weeks can make!
The older ducklings are growing like weeds, and the new ones were very happily introduced to the mommas and flock today. 🐣🐤🦆

WATCH as we capture one of our newest ducklings hatch out of their egg!! 🦆🐣
.. As many of you know, we had several ducklings hatch in the past week that are thriving. Due to the hatching, and having two mommas that were broody, the sight of new ducklings in the run caused the other momma to abandon her nest.

We grabbed the abandoned eggs and put em in our incubator. As of this morning, we have a total of 8 new babies hatched out of 11 eggs. With the remaining three eggs currently working their way out! 🐣

Hi Everyone!

First and foremost, we apologize for the lack of posts this season. It has been a busy year, with some personal accomplishments and planning for the future which will hopefully allow for us to expand a bit.

Also, planting was postponed a bit this year due to weather, causing a later crop than usual. Due to this we have had issues with pests and such. But don't worry! We will have produce available soon, however this year it will be limited. We expect slicing tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, different pepper and Eggplant varieties, and even a decent crop of watermelon in the near future!

As for now, if anyone is interested in eggs, please feel free to reach out!

Plus! Our momma muscovys have taken on the task of hatching some ducklings, and we will keep you all posted when they are hatched and available! 😊

Updates: unfortunately our hatching eggs in the incubator developed but did not hatch. Artificially hatching ducks, especially muscovy, is a hard task to master and accomplish. However, we are letting the mommas do their thing now and expect a small hatch in the coming month!

We will have baby ducks available which are due to hatch next week!!! PM us if interested!! 😊🐣
