We know everyone’s eager for opening day, so here’s where we stand: The last thing we need to get done before we can brew our first batch is the exhaust flue for our kettle. After a few delays, it’s scheduled for installation late next week!

Assuming everything goes well we plan to be brewing by the end of the month and opening in late November or early December. It’s definitely later than we originally planned, but we are so close to the finish line! Thank you all for the incredible patience and excitement, we can’t wait to host you soon.

Maryland malt has arrived! 🙌

Our friends at Bear Branch Malt dropped off three full pallets of 100% Maryland-grown grain today for our first batches of b**r. Supporting local growers is what we're all about. Almost all of the grain we use is Maryland grown with the rest being sourced regionally. Looking forward to firing up our kettle soon!

We recently snagged 12 bushels of pears from Pryor's Orchard in Thurmont and spent Saturday picking raspberries at 78 Acres gorgeous property in Smithsburg. These will be heading into some b**r soon!

1200 pounds of gorgeous local peaches just landed at the brewery today from our new friends 78 Acres!

We’re processing these beauties right away to lock in that peak orchard freshness. You’ll be tasting them in two different releases once we open!

When we say we support local agriculture we mean it. When you buy one of our pints, your dollars stay right here in our community and go right back into the hands of Maryland growers. We've got a few more deliveries lined up, so stayed tuned!

Friday is your first chance to try our b**r 🍻

We'll be at the Thurmont Art & W**e Stroll this Friday, August 21 from 5pm-8pm! We recently finally received our farm brewery license from the state of Maryland and we brewed a few quick, very small batches for this event. We hope to see some of you on Friday!

Quick update on our opening. This license was the last remaining major permit hurdle for us (we're officially the newest Maryland farm brewery!). We are wrapping up installation of our equipment over the next few weeks and are hoping to be brewing in September. Assuming we stay on track we're looking at a grand opening in October! We won't have a firm date until we get some b**r in the tanks but we're getting very close.
