Mornings at the Bottom Of The Hill! And incase anyone was wondering...yes I was working my garden in my moomoo and muck boots🤪
But on a serious note.... I hear people complain all the time about how busy they are. Truth is… we’re all busy. I can assure you our family stays just as busy as anyone else between work, farm life, family, and everything in between.
But instead of complaining about being busy, we choose to thank God for blessing us with things worth being busy for. Some people are praying for the very things we sometimes get tired of doing. The chores, the long days, the responsibilities, the opportunities — they’re all blessings.
A busy life filled with purpose, family, work, and provision is something to be grateful for. 🤍

🌼 Dandelion Jelly is officially made for the year🌼

Yesterday morning was spent picking blooms, processing petals, and letting those beautiful dandelions infuse… and this morning the kitchen turned into jars of sunshine ☀️💛

This will be our LAST batch of dandelion jelly for 2026 — even if the dandelions keep blooming. Garden season is kicking into full swing and other fresh produce is starting to demand our attention around the farm 🌱

If you want a jar, message us so we can make sure to set one aside for you to pick up Saturday! We will have several with us at the Farmers Market but Once these are gone, they’re gone until next spring 🌼

We got a new flavor idea from a few of the vendors at the farmers market this past weekend, so of course I got right to work creating a recipe! New flavor for this weekends Farmers Market.... ORANGE DREAMSICLE jelly! The only way to describe the delicious taste is... imagine a cozy little cloud of oranges and vanilla having a dance party on your tongue🤪🤣

As we go about chores, feeding animals, mowing grass, and doing all the everyday things we often catch ourselves complaining about, we’re reminded just how blessed we are to even have the freedom to do them.

The ability to raise our families, work our land, worship freely, and live this life didn’t come without sacrifice. This Memorial Day, we honor the brave men and women who gave their lives for our country so families like ours could enjoy these simple freedoms every single day.

Their sacrifice reminds us of the same selfless love Christ showed when He gave His life for us.

From our family at Bottom Of The Hill Farm, we remember and honor the fallen heroes who made this life possible. May we never take their sacrifice, or our freedoms for granted. ✝️❤️🤍💙
