During these sunny and productive farm days, it’s a good idea to start thinking about starting or growing your Quail coveys! We have 2 live California Valley Quail (1 hen and 1 rooster) that are looking for their forever homes. The hen is laying consistently and was hatched last year so this is her first laying season. The rooster is just a couple months older. They get along great with enough space, especially during laying season. Their golden speckled eggs are a stunning addition to your poultry farm! This species requires a game farm license to ow in WA State. DM me with any questions, I’m happy to answer.

This cutie wanted to let you know that Snowflake Bobwhite hatching eggs are up for discussion before the end of the season! Ya know, just in case you think he's as beautiful as we do.

This is Lemon, the elected Mayor of our Snowflake Bobwhite Covey (not pictured is his lovely wife, Barb). He's sweet yet confident, is always on the lookout for his covey, and brings treats to all the ladies. These birds are so gentle, smart, and obviously have show stopping looks so message us before their laying season ends!

We have 3 California Valley chicks left! It’s the perfect pairing of 2 hens and 1 rooster, but we’re open to sales of indiviuals. (As social animals, they’ll need to be housed in/with a pair or within a covey overall.)

I’m asking $75/bird but feel free to direct message us to inquire about a deal for all 3! *This price accounts for the local availability (no shipping risk), the healthy breeding on-site (parents+offspring are generationally healthy with no issues), and the confirmed genders/s*x.*

They’re exactly 7 weeks old today and they love berries of all types (also fresh rosemary)! They reaaaaaaally love perches and cantaloupe, as well.

They’re off heat for a few weeks now (indoors with avg 65-75°). They’re eating 20% adult game bird layer blend currently, have majority sand as substrate, and have very clean and healthy feet (if you know quail on natural flooring, you know what an accomplishment this is)!

Hey everyone, sorry for the radio silence! We got locked out of our page a while back and things have been extra wonky ever since (especially Messenger). We have Snowflake Bobwhite and California Valley quail hatching eggs available in limited quantities! These lines are bred with care in Snohomish, WA. In a few weeks, we’ll also have Valley chicks available (when we're able to confirm s*x at roughly 8-12 weeks).

Check out who arrived safely and are getting settled in their aviary- these gorgeous California Valley Quail! The photos barely do justice to how stunning they really are. There are 3 pairs who make the sweetest clicking chirps and love cantaloupe. They’re laying golden speckled eggs that add a lovely color to the mix. Look who has their head feathers in! These beauties have the sweetest temperaments of all our Coturnix and are (maybe I’m imagining it) extra soft. Our flock of black Coturnix will be laying soon but we also have a variety of other plumages available from our hatching eggs. Located in Snohomish, WA.

We’re receiving tons of inquiries for live birds but unfortunately we do not sell live birds at this time. We primarily sell Coturnix hatching and eating eggs. We will soon be offering Snowflake Bobwhite hatching eggs and California Valley hatching eggs, both species require a Gamebird Farm License in WA state.

If you’re on the hunt for local hatching Quail eggs that provide a variety of plumages, you found it! Our flocks are pasture raised, organically fed, and have wonderful temperaments. Our farm mixes bloodlines and we don’t raise them for meat so every bird is happy, healthy, and has a full quality life. We offer both regular speckled layers and Celadon layers (true blue) or a mix!

Coming soon! In the next month or so, Plume & Bloom will be offering black Coturnix quail hatching eggs so be sure to get on the waitlist now! (Chicks come out with some yellow down feathers that grow out)

Fertile hatching eggs available from Coturnix Quail that are pasture-raised in the beautiful Snohomish Valley! We currently have dazzling Celadon (blue) and regular cream speckled layer eggs. Any hatchlings from our Celadons will be true blue layers.

Our ladies (and roosters) are fed organic food and receive supplemental heat and light for the winter. They also get mealworms and oyster shells for additional protein and calcium. We only collect hatching eggs from flocks of healthy birds with good temperaments (and beautiful plumage).
