Alright officially done hatching the first 2 batches of ourlavendar orpingtons, a total of 15 all ready to go off, 2 weeks old 16 laced wyandottes 2 weeks old. Unsexed 6 feathers a chicadee. These hatches were to ween the rooster off these girls as we dont sell fertilized eggs to eat. So lots of fun. Currently after hatching 2 batches of turkey eggs we have a batch of pheasant eggs excited to see what comes! If anyone else needs or wants hatching let us know! Snohomish wa located.

Here we are this last month was busy begging to build a chicken coop thats more of a barn and the first chicks hatched from one of our chickens some lavender Orpingtons hatching as we speak! Looking to sell them and what should be their silver laced wyandotte cousins from the next batch(tomorrow~)!

So this was Connie Stone or Stone Crow Stables! 10 eggs 3 seemingly unfertilized 7 developed at least a little, and 5 hatched. Leaving about a 71% hatch rate but incredibly varied egg colors and looks on all the chickies. Don't know how many are roos but between vent sexing and feather/feature sexing this was the only batch we agreed 100% that all of them looked like hens..... would be a miracle but you never know. Located in Snohomish WA if you might be interested in having your eggs hatched/will be posting the ones from all 5 hatches this month that will be up for grabs including the egg colors they hatched. Enjoy the coming sun.

hatch groups 2&3. plenty of beautiful greens in here. Just getting the last info on Hatch groups 4 and 5 before posting but such pretty chickies. out of the 22 that seemed to be viable 10 hatched. Not entirely sure what happened as the other groups that hatched this rotation all had 70-80% hatch rates. will keep trying to figure out what to do better. but pretty chickies. If anyone has fertile eggs around snohomish, let us know want to really pegg down the new incubators sweet spot for humidity.

The first of the 4 hatches in the incubator is entirely finished with a few chicks from hatch 2 and 3 currently hatching as i put this post together, we have just finished the banding of these chicks with wonderfully serialized zip ties! as the picture states bout A 90% hatch rate given one of the eggs didn't seem fertile. so exciting to see the chickies and add some cool pinks and lighter greens to future laying flock.

This months batch leading up to the ramp up for chickadees going into spring and summer ahead. These will be rocking egg...

This months batch leading up to the ramp up for chickadees going into spring and summer ahead. These will be rocking eggs by mid-late summer. Continuing with the batches to expand our colored layers a total of 56 eggs this time around and our incubator still feels empty looking forward to the next few months where it will be going 24/7 with many more eggs, if you would like us to hatch your eggs please reach out!
