Morning chores taste better now 🐐

Okay, real talk — one thing I will ALWAYS do on this page is be honest with you guys. So here's the honest truth:

I hate water. Shocking, I know! Like, genuinely hate it. For years I've been adding stuff like Liquid IV and Pure Aqua Hydrate to it just to get it down, because with my POTS, Ehlers-Danlos, and other illnesses, I HAVE to stay on top of my water intake. It's not optional for me — it's just a struggle when you can't stand plain water.

📣⭐️We are excited to announce that we are opening up our spay and neuter clinics to the public. These spots will be limited and there will likely be a wait list as we expect a large response to this program. If you are interested in applying, please send an inquiry to [email protected] for an application.

This Wednesday 10/21 is the first clinic we will be offering services to the community. We have the following spots available:

1 K9 neuter
2 K9 spays
10 Feline neuters
2 feline spays

‼️Edit: income limit is $60,000 but also based on proof of hardship (SNAP, WIC etc). The clinic this Wednesday will be at GCC but future clinics may be at different hospitals depending on availability. Drop off point will be depending on location. This week’s drop off location will be at a local volunteer location and we will share that information with those that are approved for this clinic. Drop off locations will vary depending on where the clinics are held. This program is available to local TNR volunteers. Pets must be up to date on core vaccines (Rabies, FVRCP, DHPP) if not vaccinating during clinic.

We are also looking for volunteers for future clinics! If you are a veterinarian, LVT or vet assistant please email us for more information on how to help!

Must provide proof of income. Must provide own local transport. All requests must be made via email at [email protected]. We will not accept request via any of our social media accounts or Logansrescue.org. Full payment is due upon scheduling confirmation. Failure to pay within 48 hours before the clinic date will result in cancellation of your reservation. Payments must be made via cash, Venmo, PayPal, Apple Pay etc. We cannot accept checks.

I get asked a lot why I help animals.
Why hurt myself with animals who might not make it?
Why help after I've been bitten, scratched, and required a rabies vaccine?
Why even care about the mangy, dirty, smelly "pests"?
Because it is just a blip of energy and time in my life, but to them, it's their whole world. 💛🐧

We were also contacted about this poor baby.
I am thankful Room For One More Rescue Inc got him as quick as they could.
We have our own thrown from a car baby and thankfully she is thriving nearly a yr later.
If you can help please please help them as Christine always helps the babies that need it the most!

🐾 Happy National Feral Cat Day! 🐾

Feral cats didn't choose the street life — but we can choose to make it better.

This week alone, we at Penguin Pastures got **19** feral and community cats spayed and vaccinated — and our tracker shows **42 cats** fixed and returned or rehomed in 2026 through our TNVR work so far.

What's TNVR?
**Trap, Neuter, Vaccinate, Return/Rehome.**
Fixed cats live healthier lives, the breeding cycle stops, and they get to stay in the only home they've ever known — with full bellies and the winter shelters we build for them.

What YOU can do for feral cats:
🐱 Support your local TNVR group (even sharing this post helps)
🐱 Don't feed and forget — an unfixed colony doubles fast. Ask a rescue about trapping
🐱 Put out winter shelter — a styrofoam cooler with straw saves lives, and we give them out for FREE
🐱 Adopt the friendly ones — feral kittens can become the best house cats
🐱 Volunteer as a driver/helper/cleaner — clinics need wheels and hands as much as traps and food
