This skillet sensation is bold, creamy, and packed with flavor—juicy steak bites seared to perfection, sweet sautéed bell peppers and onions, and cheesy tortellini drenched in a rich Alfredo sauce. It’s steakhouse comfort with colorful veggie goodness in every bite. 🍝💛
📝 Ingredients:
20 oz cheese tortellini (fresh or refrigerated)
1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
Salt, black pepper, garlic powder, Italian seasoning
2 tbsp olive oil
3 tbsp butter
1 bell pepper (any color), thinly sliced
1 small onion, thinly sliced
4 cloves garlic, minced
1½ cups heavy cream
¾ cup whole milk
1¼ cups freshly grated parmesan
½ tsp smoked paprika
½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
Optional garnish: chopped parsley, extra parmesan
🔥 Instructions:
Cook the tortellini:
Boil tortellini according to package directions until tender. Drain and set aside.
Sear the steak:
Season steak with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear steak bites for 3–5 minutes until browned and cooked to your liking. Remove and set aside.
Sauté the peppers & onions:
In the same skillet, melt butter. Add sliced bell peppers and onions. Cook until softened and lightly caramelized. Stir in minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant. Sprinkle in smoked paprika for extra depth.
Make the Alfredo sauce:
Pour in heavy cream and milk, stirring to combine. Let simmer for 3–4 minutes until slightly thickened. Gradually stir in parmesan until melted into a smooth, creamy sauce. Adjust seasoning to taste.
Bring it all together:
Return steak and tortellini to the skillet. Toss gently until everything is coated in the luscious bell pepper onion Alfredo sauce. Let simmer 1–2 minutes so flavors meld beautifully.
Garnish and serve:
Top with fresh parsley, extra parmesan, and red pepper flakes if you like a little heat. Serve warm and enjoy every creamy, savory bite.
💬 Why It Works:
The sweetness of sautéed peppers and onions balances the rich Alfredo beautifully, while tender steak adds bold, hearty flavor. The tortellini captures every drop of that creamy goodness—making each bite indulgent, colorful, and completely crave-worthy. 😌🥩🍝
