There's just something about a cast iron skillet full of smothered pork chops that feels like home.

Tender pork chops, slow-cooked onions, rich homemade gravy, and a big scoop of mashed potatoes... this is the kind of meal that brings everyone to the table.

One of our favorite ways to cook our farm-raised pork is low and slow, just like generations before us. Simple ingredients, homemade gravy, and plenty of love.

Have you ever heard of a Tamworth pig?

Tamworths are one of the oldest heritage breeds, originally developed in England over 200 years ago. They’re known for their beautiful red color, hardy nature, and exceptional meat quality.

We chose to raise Tamworths because we believe good pork starts long before it reaches the table. These pigs are naturally active, thrive on the farm, and produce pork that’s well-marbled, flavorful, and perfect for everything from thick-cut pork chops to homemade sausage and bacon.

Hi! We’re so glad you’re here.

We’re a small family farm in Somerset, Kentucky, and everything we do is centered around faith, family, and hard work. Raising our children to appreciate where food comes from and the value of honest work is something that’s important to us.

The Bluegrass Farm was created because we believe families deserve access to quality, locally raised pork from people they know and trust. We’re proud to raise our pigs right here on our farm and offer USDA-processed pork for families throughout our community.
