🎃ITS PUMPKIN SEASON 🎃

We’ve been a bit quiet on social media lately - simply because we are busy already with pumpkin season! Farm days always get busier heading into fall and this year rainfall has decided to be part of the operation too! 🤣

If you ask Nick, the best way to get through the muddy days is to throw on some boots, pick up the next pumpkin and keep moving.

Onward to long days, muddy fields and the beginning of our favorite season!

Making my Christmas list — Courtney says she’ll buy me whatever I circle 🎄✏️

Who says you can’t get pumpkins for Christmas? Planning next year’s pumpkins already, and Rupp’s has so many varieties it’s hard to choose.

One of these isn’t a pumpkin… who can spot it? 👀🍉

Big news from the farm! 🐮 🥩

We just received all of our 2026 beef processing appointments, which means it’s time to start locking in your freezer beef for next year.

All of these appointments are at Earlville Cold Storage Locker — truly the best butcher around. They are fully booked for the year, and we were lucky enough to secure 21 appointments.

Every year our spots sell out quicker and quicker — so if your family wants local, consistently tender beef in the freezer, now is the perfect time to reserve your spot.

Comment INFO, send us a message, text us at 815 981 1525, or tag someone who needs to get on the list! We appreciate every single one of you who supports our farm. ❤️

A lot of folks wonder what we do with leftover pumpkins. Some go to the cattle and chickens as a treat, and the rest get plowed under to enrich the soil for next year. Around here, the pumpkins keep on giving.

First snow fall of the season!❄️

Just kidding! These are called “Bees wings” from harvesting corn with a white cob.

On a side note, who appreciates my singing?🎵 🙋
