If you haven’t seen our sunflower cover crop field yet, check it out. It’s along Elroy road next to the intersection with Beck road.
What’s a cover crop? A crop we plant to protect and enhance the soil. This field was early sweet corn and was harvested by early August. We still had nearly 3 months left to grow something other than weeds. The sunflowers and soybeans(not as competitive) will freeze and die when we get a freeze. Radishes with survive until it gets into the low 20s. The rye will overwinter and regrow in the spring.

Last of the sweet corn, when it’s gone sweet corn 2026 is over! It’s going to be a great weather week. Excellent time to decorate outside. We have a great selection.

Let’s talk turkeys! Our youngest daughter Sage has shown turkeys at the PA Farm Show for the past two years and has enjoyed it so much that she decided to raise some to sell at the farm market this November. We have 20 turkeys that will be ready for your Thanksgiving feast! Weights and pricing TBD but if you’re interested send us a message and we’ll fill you in on the details!

Corn isn’t over yet but it’s getting close to the end. Probably enough corn for the rest of the week likely into Saturday.

All stocked up on fall ornamentals. All grown on our farm by Tanner, the 7th generation to farm on this property.

Sweet corn will continue until the end of September. More Pumpkins and fall ornamentals are being added to the farm market daily!

If you want corn for freezing you have 11 days remaining!
No corn orders after 9/23.

Do you need some veggies for the second half of the holiday weekend? We’re open both today and Monday. 8am-7pm.
Sweet corn, tomatoes, watermelon, candy onions, cucumbers, peppers, potatoes, green beans, flowers, and acorn squash. Pumpkins and corn shocks will be available this week.
