Market season 2026 is here! I’ve already got my asparagus and lemon cookies here at Fairwood Farmers Market. New booth location by the road - come find me! So glad to see everyone. Also check out Alyssa’s best chicken ever from her Link'd Hearts Ranch. She’s easy to find since her booth is at my old location next to Hierophant Meadery.

(7/9) “The Pebble Mine is not a good idea. It’s not appropriate to have the Pebble Mine in Bristol Bay. It cannot happen. We can't keep repeating these things over and over.
We have such a rich fishery. This is our fishery, in our land, and we do not want the Pebble mine here. We're not going to allow it
There are so many different things you can point to. This is the most gorgeous place to visit, but it also is a requirement that we have a fishery here to live here.
The beautiful thing about our fishery and about the Pebble Mine fight is that it's nonpartisan. Every person I know from Bristol Bay, literally every person I know that has grown up here or lived here — Republican, Trump supporter, Biden supporter, it doesn't matter. Every person that lives here is opposed to the Pebble Mine. I don't know a single person that wants this mine.”

It’s true! Collagen has been a hot topic for awhile now, and I’m convinced of its importance. My skin and hair saw a marked improvement when I started my program of eating Alaska seafood every day - to the point where people were making positive comments. Why not enjoy something that is good for you inside and out, supports our heritage fishery, and is 💯 sustainable and clean? Winning all the way.

Healthy skin and hair is more attainable than you think! Wild sockeye salmon is high in omega-3s, which help keep your skin supple and your hair moisturized. The antioxidant astaxanthin (which wild sockeye get from their ocean diet of krill and gives it that iconic ruby red color) also boosts your hair and skin by increasing collagen formation. So do your hair and skin a favor and add Bristol Bay Sockeye Salmon to your menu.
