My littlest litter right now. Mini plush lops. Not open for reserves yet. But they are chonky!!

If you ever decide to add chickens to your family. Be prepared for chicken math. Bunny math is bad enough lol. Start with some chicks. Rinse repeat and somehow you have 28 and then come ducks now at 8 and next weekend we get our 3 geese. Picture of the ducks in their new digs. They were so good their first night last night and went right in the shed on their own. I will not actually be keeping all my new silkie chicks but I need to grow them out to decide which are my keepers.

All 11 hatched! There was one still left to go this morning and once he hatched, I pulled everyone else out of the incubator. They were crushing poor little fellow. He will fluff a little longer and join them later.

Today is day 21 and just like clockwork my mottled silkie chicks are hatching. Currently at 9 out of 11 that went into lockdown. One more has good pips so should hatch soon. The other is in a spot where I can't tell. I got my hatching eggs from Silkie Sweet. Great outcome especially with my new incubator. My humidity level soared as hatching began so I was struggling to get it down. You can see the condensation on the incubator.I will have more pics tomorrow afternoon as I hope they are ready for the brooder. I took in a single chick from someone's hatch yesterday who is currently fighting for a chance to make it. He has splay legs and curled toes. She is a fighter. Hoping she gets a bit stronger before the others join her. Here is a little video snippet.

Most of these babies are reserved already. The broken black and broken blue holland lops are both 👀🏡🏡. They all turned out so pretty. I just love my first litter of velveteen lops. I am keeping the blue sallander who is a doe.

Well Miss Chloe surprised me. She went and had 3 fat little babies today. I thought maybe she was not pregnant after all. Day 33 is not late just later than my does usually go. :) Mom is chocolate torte mini plush lop and Dad is broken blue otter. No broken patterns but hoping for an otter or two. :)

Best part about my little Corral. New babies and upcoming babies. Our Chloe mini plush lop was due yesterday and still no babies. Sometimes does go longer but I am thinking she just did not take this round. No worries we will try again. Then our baby ducks and chicks have upgraded to the garage as it is just too hot in my office and smelly lol. The video is from yesterday and their first swimming fun. Tonight I candled my new silkie hatching eggs at day 8 from Silkie Sweet. Only found 2 out of 14 not developing. This new incubator has a really nice candler light and I can see them very well. Even could see movement inside. 😍 My two upcoming bunny litters are nearly all reserved now except two pretty little broken black and broken blue does. They will meet new families 8-26 and after. And we are getting a couple buff/pomeranian goslings at the end of the month. They will be nice additions to our duck herd for protection. Stewart Jr. Mason has wanted geese for a long time. These girls will be named Thelma and Louise. :) This weekend if the heat doesn't prevent me, I will work on putting up the new covered duck run. It was supposed to be the silkie run but I went a bit too large for their area. 🤷‍♀️

All now up for discussion. Message me for details on how to reserve. All just over 4 weeks and can meet families 8/26 for Hollands and 8/27 for Velveteen lops. South Paris. Chocolate vm buck, blue vm doe and chinchilla doe reserved.

I will be posting my two litters tomorrow with genders. Again no guarantee but fairly certain. I will then start taking deposits. They are ready between 8-26 and 8-27 depending on litter. Be on the lookout if you are interested. Fcfs.
