Howdy Friends!
Dirty Soda aka Soda Pop stopping by to remind you to get your favorite locally raised beef while we still have a good variety of cuts left!
With kiddos headed back to school & daylight becoming limited we are headed into one of my favorite seasons; ROAST SEASON!! I am a sucker for a crockpot, set it & forget it type dinner & these gorgeous roasts will not disappoint!
As I mentioned in previous posts unless I find another handsome steer to add to the herd we will not be restocking until spring of 2027! However I do know a spot you will be able to get your Risky Business Beef that we all know & love! I’ll get you the details as soon as we’ve got them stocked up this fall!
Hope you’re all enjoying our first week of September!

Howdy Friends!
Happy Monday! Steven just came through to let you know our inventory continues to shrink as we sold out of our porterhouses & flank steaks!
I had the opportunity to take a little down time between shifts yesterday to celebrate the life of a good friend & donate a beef basket to raise funds for the local chapter of su***de prevention. I have loved being able to donate so many baskets to many different causes this year including jack n jills for long time friends, our dear friends at Justice for Jesse & Su***de prevention from the loss of a bright light none of us expected. I plan on doing even more in 2027 hopefully involving our youth in ag in a couple different organizations! Keep your eyes peeled for those posts coming into next year! RBCC took a community to build & I’m ready to give back to that community❤️🐮
Thank you all for your continued support in my small herd of misfits, we appreciate it!
Get your orders in while we still have inventory left!
Let’s crush this week!

Howdy Friends!
Sorry I haven’t posted in a little bit, as you can imagine summer on the farm tends to get busy!
Our newest member of the herd, Rye is stopping by to let you know we are officially
💥SOLD OUT OF GROUND BEEF💥
until we butcher another steer!
I will be shopping the market for another youngin to buy as whispers on the street indicate the next steer i had lined up for butcher may be bought whole! Keep your eyes peeled for updates but as of this moment after we sell our current inventory we will be sold out until spring 2027!
Thank you all for your continued support, it is incredible to have such a high demand for my very loved beef cattle, that I have to play catch up with you all! This community has certainly played a very large hand in making my dreams possible! We’ll keep raising the best of the best for you all!
Feel free to reach out with any questions & beef orders as our menu slims down!

Howdy Friends!
Last night Rhubarb gathered us all as a farm team unit to get ready to have her baby! Then assumed we were just there to eat snacks & have a sleepover so we called it a night. The very best, all star team checked in on her around 1am & found that she had delivered her baby! I went over this morning to check on them & am happy to report Rhubarb had a healthy, darling little bull calf!
They will be in the maternity pen for a couple of days so we can keep an extra good eye on them but I have faith in Rhubarb’s maternal instincts to raise her 2nd baby without fail. I mean her yearling daughter Rori seemed pretty upset we took her mommy away from her this morning🤣❤️
Massive thank you to Grindstone Mountain Farm for not only being our cow’s home but for caring for and loving my herd as their own. Rhubarb loves her auntie & we know she loves her Erik🐮❤️🤣 I owe you guys a coffee for the late night/early morning!
Enjoy the weekend & always feel free to reach out with questions & orders!

Howdy Friends!
While many fear getting the “lettuce diarrhea” we have been busy keeping our lovely cattle well cared for and comfortable as our darling Rhubarb prepares to welcome her 2nd calf🥰
If you’re concerned with the cycloporiasis, the best preventative action is to wash your produce before consuming or to avoid several high risk produce items. Don’t want to risk it all? Come grab some locally grown beef! Vegetables are just recommendations! Did you know beef is one of few foods that contains all 9 essential amino acids?! It is also an incredible source of bioavailable iron needed tor cardiovascular health!
We have plenty of excellent cuts still in stock, reach out with any questions and orders you may have!
Stay safe & eat fresh friends!

Howdy Friends!
We’ve sold out of our boneless sirloin steaks!
Many folks have asked why I opt for a boneless sirloin and the answer comes down to two important factors for me;
The first being that anytime you’re packaging a bone-in product you assume the risk of a sealing failure if the butcher doesn’t use bone paper to ensure the integrity of the packaging process. The other is that it is added weight, not only added weight but weight you don’t get to consume! So for the sake of your pocket and my state of mind in storing the product before it gets to you fine folks; we go boneless where we see fit!
I also wanted to mention we still have plenty of sirloin tip steaks, these aren’t quite as tender as the sirloin but you will notice they are a leaner cut. If you’re looking for a little more fat & flavor our tri-tip steaks have a gorgeous fat cap on each side of them and personally it’s my one of my go-to cuts! And of course for our friends missing their minute steaks, a beautiful substitution is the flat iron steaks! They’re also perfect to use as fajita meat!
Hoping you’re all staying cool & hydrated this week!

Howdy Friends!
I hope you’re all recovered from a fun filled holiday weekend!
I had the opportunity to spend some time off both farms to relax with family and friends in northern Vermont🥰 knowing my beef babies were receiving the best possible care and the kickass team at the dairy were able to shoulder some extra chores ontop of the already very very full plate💪🏻🐮 I appreciate both teams that allowed me this moment to reset.
That being said; I am back & available to take your beef orders, recharged and ready to continue a great summer of grilling locally raised beef!
Here is our updated menu & some photos of our view from the lake this weekend!
Thank you for your patience and continued support!
