What a FUN night at White Lake Park! 💙🇬🇷

Between the sidewalk chalk, families hanging out, the movie, and so many familiar faces stopping by the truck, it was just one of those perfect summer community nights. ☀️🎬✨

Thank you to everyone who came hungry, grabbed some Greek food, said hello, and supported The Greek Kitchen tonight. We had such a great time being part of it!

Join us for a cozy fall evening at the farm as we turn simple white pumpkins into beautiful pieces of autumn décor!

Using pressed and dried flowers, greenery, and natural elements, you’ll create your own one-of-a-kind floral pumpkin to enjoy all season long. We’ll be using Mod Podge techniques to carefully layer flowers onto your pumpkin, creating a delicate cottage-inspired decoration that feels like a little piece of fall magic. ✨

🌻✨ Farm Kindness Day — Kindness Brightens Our World ✨🌻

We’re wrapping up our Kallo Farms Kids Summer Series with a lesson that brings everything together — kindness. 💛

For our final week, we’ll explore what it means to show kindness to animals, people, and our planet. From caring for the creatures who share our farm to helping our friends and neighbors, we’ll talk about the little choices we can make every day that create a big impact. 🌎🐓🐐

Then we’ll create beautiful DIY Suncatchers to remind us that kindness has a way of spreading light wherever it goes. ☀️🌈

Throughout the summer, our theme has been simple:

Be kind. Be curious. Be compassionate. 💚

Thank you to all of the families who joined us this summer, asked questions, got messy, explored nature, loved our animals, and helped make Kallo Farms such a special place for learning and connection. We can’t wait to celebrate our little farmers at our final class! 🌿

We took Millie to the vet today for her check-up, and she did amazing. ❤️There were some big gaps in her medical history...

We took Millie to the vet today for her check-up, and she did amazing. ❤️

There were some big gaps in her medical history, so we got her vaccines updated and made a plan to help her gain some weight. She also has some skin issues we’re working on, most likely from the way she was being kept before she came to us.

But honestly… she was just incredible. She was so sweet and trusting, and by the end of the appointment she was literally falling asleep on the vet (probably because farm life is exhausting 😂).

Every day we get to know her a little more, and she continues to amaze us. She is gentle, loving, and just so happy to be cared for.

I’m completely in love with this dog. ❤️ She deserves all the good things, and we’re so lucky she found her way to us.

🐾This is Millie. Sometimes the ones who need us have a way of finding us. 🤍

We weren’t looking for another dog. Millie came into our lives unexpectedly after we learned that she was in a situation where she wasn’t being treated the way she deserved. We agreed to take her in, giving her a safe place to land.

And then, of course, we fell completely in love with her.💕

The part that still gives me chills is the timing. Millie came to us on Charlie’s birthday. Of all the days.

Since coming home, she has settled in like she somehow knew she belonged here. She is safe, loved, comfortable and SO happy—and watching more of her personality come out every day has been such a gift. She needed us, but I think in a lot of ways, we needed her too.✨️

It feels a little like she found us. 🤍

And while Millie has brought so much happiness back into our home, she isn’t a replacement for Charlie. We still miss him every single day, and we are still holding onto hope that Charlie will find his way home to us. There will always be a place here waiting for him.🤍

For now, we’re incredibly grateful that somehow, on Charlie’s birthday, another dog who needed a family found hers.
