After only 3 days….
Here’s a crazy update on our flower donations!!! We have Sold out at both locations AND we raised $740 dollars for the 4 different people that lost their homes in the fire on main st. I don’t know what to say, I’m speechless, I’m in disbelief, I was gonna be happy with $200 but our community has really stepped in and helped and I don’t know how to thank everyone enough!! I am making more bouquets so if you missed out, don’t worry, we have more coming very soon! As of now Muddy Creek is stocked back up and A Touch of Grace will be on Wednesday! Thank you again! I love this small town! I love my neighbors! And I love how we’re coming together for something bigger than all of us!

Hey Guys! I’m sure you have heard of the tragic loss of downtown Sparta, the building that burned, we are wanting to help the 4 people that were affected, we want to raise money using our flowers! This is a pay-what-you-can booth, $5, $10, $20, whatever you are able to afford is perfectly fine with us! The money will be split evenly between these 4 people. They are located at A Touch of Grace and Muddy Creek Cafe! Let’s come together as a community and help out our neighbors!

To all my dahlia friends,

Thank you for supporting our spring tuber sale and for visiting The Dahlia Patch over the past several years. Whether you’ve purchased tubers, walked through the blooms, or simply cheered us on, you’ve helped make this little dream so special. I truly appreciate every one of you.

I also wanted to let everyone know that we will not be holding our annual Dahlia Festival this year.

This year has been filled with unexpected medical challenges. After learning I carry the BRCA2 gene mutation, I had a bilateral mastectomy and will be undergoing a preventative hysterectomy at the end of August.

Between recovering from surgery, preparing for another surgery, and continuing to manage our Christmas tree farm, I simply don’t have the time, energy, and physical ability to host the festival this season.

Although the festival won’t be happening, there will still be dahlias blooming! I’ll continue sharing photos and updates from a much smaller patch throughout the summer. Watching these beautiful flowers grow has always brought me so much joy, and I look forward to sharing that beauty with all of you.

Please also support Carly and Brad, who are stepping in to help this season by growing and sharing beautiful flowers. More information will be coming soon, so be sure to follow CE Farms and Candle Co on Facebook for updates.

Thank you again for your kindness, your support, and for being part of The Dahlia Patch family.
