I love my hens, they're fierce mommas with their chicks. They will grab a snake up, a mouse,lizards, anything big enough to fit in their little beaks, you name it and swallow it. Absolutely can see how they are descendants of dinosaurs.

Poor Laddie, she's such a sweet girl. All she wants to do is share her toy with the geese and they don't understand her. 😭

Indian runners are prob my favorite duck breed. They'd hardy and wonderful garden pest exterminators! Not to mention hilarious little characters. I currently have these 4 ducks UFD. They're all drakes, very quiet boys. I let them into my orchard and they clean up all the bugs and slugs. But I have more than I currently need so I have to say goodbye to some and why not the prettiest boys I have? All 7 weeks old and living ft outside.

We have beautiful blue laying Ameraucana chickens. This rooster is tidbitting. This towards a human is done as trust. This behavior means he views you as part of his "flock" and respects you. It's an excellent sign of a well-adjusted, gentlemanly rooster rather than an aggressive one. We breed for temperament as much as possible, while it's not guaranteed, it does up your chances of having a sweeter roo.
