So grateful for kind neighbours! I didn’t even hear this one come down. It must have been during the storms yesterday. One of our neighbours has cleared it off the road. Not sure who, but I am very grateful.

Storms expected over the next few hours. Alpacas are safe in their stalls. I had to lock them inside because the wind was blowing the rain inside. Lucky I topped up their water and hay earlier.

It’s been a ridiculously hot and humid day here today. Thunderstorms are starting now. At least I was able to keep the herd cooled down. I had to hose the boys. Matilda was smart enough to use the sprinkler.

Don’t forget to mark 26 September in your calendars! Lots to do between now and then. We have started ordering merchandise for our open farm day. So far, we will have TShirts, ball caps, mugs, and travel mugs - all with our beautiful logo.

Happy Father’s Day to Steve and all the Dad’s out there. Hope you had a lovely day. Steve, I’m so grateful for everything that you do for me and all that you do here at the farm. Our alpaca boys are going to love this super sized stall once we’ve completed it.
