We have also been brainstorming hosting a local book club where the author can can participate in a casual Q&A once the book is read. Maybe we start with this Spring City inspired novel by James J. Hill? Let us know if this is something you may be interested in joining!

We have loads more plans on the horizon! It is taking a little longer than expected to get all of the pieces in the right spot, but this planning phase is truly one of my favorite parts. Cool stuff coming soon! 😎

The best is yet to come!

**THANK YOU FROM THE OFFICE OF THE MAYOR**

Dear Spring City Community,

One of the greatest joys of serving as your Mayor is being out in the community, talking with residents, meeting business owners, and seeing firsthand the pride people have in Spring City Borough. Every day, I can feel our community growing and coming together. You can see it when you walk down Main Street, in the conversations happening around town, and in the new businesses choosing to call Spring City home.

Today, I would like to personally thank each and every business throughout the Spring City Borough. You are working alongside the Borough and our residents to make Spring City a better place to live, work, and visit. Your involvement, dedication, and commitment to our community have become a BIG part of the success we are experiencing as we continue the revitalization of Main Street and neighborhoods throughout our Borough.

You can see it in the positive sidewalk chalk messages outside Alisan Road Mercantile, the welcoming bench outside Neighbors Barbershop, the flowers and outdoor seating at Four Winds Tattoo and Tuned Up Brewing Company, the new RAM sculpture on Main Street, the freshly painted storefronts at MYTECH Automotive Service Center 610-489-7550 and L&W Group Printing, the family-friendly events hosted by The Gem Music Hall, Spring City, and the creative window displays at Wild Blooms . These small touches make a big difference and help create the welcoming community we all love.

But this isn't just about Main Street.

Thank you to Chaos piercings, The Latin Corner, Craig's Cat Cafe', Wilke's Pizzeria & Grille, The "Official" Spring-Ford Diner, Misfit Hair Studio, Riverside Grooming & Spa, Desi Swaad Spring City, Splash Car Wash PA, Glenn's Auto Repair, Center City Steaks & Pizza, Spring City Mill Studios, George's Music Spring City, The Mayflower, the soon-to-open Punch Buggy Brewing Spring City, and so many other businesses throughout our Borough. You are truly the backbone of our community. While I may not have listed every business by name, please know that your contributions are seen, appreciated, and valued.

As a Borough, we continue working hard to improve our community. We will be repainting lamp posts along Main Street, installing new flags along Main and Bridge Streets, maintaining our streetscapes, repainting our colorful borough markers, and continuing beautification efforts throughout town. These improvements take time and will not happen overnight, but they are coming. Most importantly, these efforts are not limited to Main Street alone. Positive changes are happening throughout every corner of our Borough.

To our residents, thank you for supporting our local businesses. I ask that you continue to shop local, support local, and invest in the businesses that invest in our community. Every purchase, every visit, and every recommendation helps strengthen the businesses that help make Spring City special.

To our businesses and our residents: thank you for believing in Spring City. Thank you for your partnership, your support, and your commitment to making our community stronger.

Community Day was a joy!

Spring City can put on one heck of a party. And Brown Street Park? BEAUTIFUL. We cannot wait to see what comes next. Thank you to for making this poster for Parks and Rec. They got some good intel on what borough residents are seeking. Let’s get to work in the next community gathering! 🤘🏼

I know that this is last minute, BUT we are trying to keep up the momentum from Community Day!

We had so many good conversations on Saturday with neighbors and community members. EVERYONE shared the sentiment that they would love to learn more about town and even get involved with its revival. The monthly council meetings (every first Monday!) are a great place to start.

We hope to organize more formal gatherings in the future for both local business owners and residents. So, if the day or the time or the venue does not work for you, then do NOT fret! We will host plenty more opportunities to get together as a town and share ideas very soon.

For now, we HOPE to see you on Monday! 🤘🏼

HEY, YOU. YES, YOU! We will have fresh sourdough loaves this weekend! 🍞

With the beautiful weather, we thought it was the perfect time to try out some malty goodness! Our friends from Fresh Batch Co will be delivering some loaves on Friday night that will be available Saturday and Sunday at the shop. Trust us, it is TASTY stuff.

BUT you are fancy and like to add a little topping to your slice? Do not fret, we got you covered! We have three different kinds of peanut butter from and always hooks us up with a rotating selection of jams and jellies. Plus, we still have both fall and summer honey from and infused olive oil from that is perfect for dipping. Have it your way! 👑

This is not a revolutionary idea. It is just a simple way to bring something new to a big portion of our patrons - those who live in walking distance to the shop. The good baker at has already offered to make us some of his famous pastries. We just need to prove that we can sell them, so that they will not go to waste / we will not take a huge loss every week.

So, take a walk to Main Street, try a loaf (or two), and let us know what other fresh products you would like to be able to walk “down the street” to purchase. 🤘🏼

We are debuting our new shirts at Community Day on Saturday! ⭐️

We will have four different Spring City shirts that can be pre-ordered in any size. My personal favorite is our lamppost design. It incorporates some of the unique history of Main Street - history that we can hopefully celebrate more of in the future. A special thanks to for always helping us bring our crazy visions to reality! 🙂

Cori will be manning the booth Saturday afternoon at Brown Street Park, so come say HEY, HI, HELLO. It should be a beautifully sunny day with lots of quality music, good food, and awesome neighborly vibes! 🤘🏼

Cameras are here! 📸

If you ordered one, they are ready for pickup. If you have been meaning to grab one, now is the time! We have some that are sponsored and free to use, so please stop by to inquire! Our initial purchase was 20 cameras, but we can always order more if needed.

We will have a unique mixture of summer life in Spring City through local resident and business viewpoints. Thanks to for sponsoring a few cameras! And thanks to .neighbors.barbershop, , and for participating in this wacky experiment.

Please remember to bring your cameras back for development by Labor Day. Once developed, we will start putting together our photo communal exhibit! We are very excited to see where this takes us. There are serval plans to use these snapshots for other projects around town - so stay tuned for that, as well.

Another reminder that we are participating in the borough wide yard sale on Saturday! We will be selling board games and puzzles to fund some more cameras for the community. We will also have cameras available at the Community Day in Brown Street Park that afternoon.

A little over three months does not seem like that long of a timeframe. But Main Street already has a totally different look than it did back in February. What has changed, you ask?

At 135 N. Main: , a local staple serving beer and BBQ, returned from a longer than expected hiatus! 🍖

At 105 N. Main: .neighbors.barbershop brought bright lights and a new life to a vacant storefront! 💈

At 93 N. Main: an OPENING SOON sign was put up in the beautiful storefront window! 👀

At 77 N. Main: has been working hard for an imminent grand opening! 🍻

There are still several empty lots on Main Street. What else do you want to see come to town? ☕️ 📚🍦💿 🥐 🐶🍷
