Jason’s Place on Stonehill. A Residential Assisted Living Home

"We officially opened March 2026 and we are a member of the Valrico FishHawk Chamber. We are a six bed residential assisted-living facility with six private bedrooms, and we offer permanent, respite, or day club options. We assist adults in the community that need help with their ADLs (activities of daily ) such as bathing, dressing, med management, ambulating, bathing. Our goal is to make it feel like they’re home and not in a facility. We make all of our meals homemade in our kitchen and the kitchen never closes. If someone wants to sleep in and misses breakfast, they can have breakfast when they wake up. They do not have to wait until the next meal. If they wake up at midnight and want a snack, they get a snack! This is their home and their schedule. This is not to say that sometimes that we do not order pizza or pick up Chick-fil-A for lunch, but we are not serving frozen mass produced meals to our residents. We have a 13-year-old facility Frenchie, some hens and some tortoises on the property. We were voted Best of Florida 2026 by our families, friends, and healthcare partners! We pride ourselves on our care and dedication to our residents and their families! 🫶🏼Everyone who has moved a loved one in, has become part of our family.

I was born and raised here in Brandon as well as my parents and my husband and graduated from Armwood high school. I am an RN and have worked at General Hospital for almost 21 years before leaving the hospital to own and operate my own residential assisted-living facility here in Valrico. My family is big into the racing world. My husband has raced all his life here at the local tracks such as East Bay before they closed down. My kids have all raced go karts and now my youngest son who is now 15 years old races at Auburndale and some local asphalt tracks, but he just recently purchased a dirt car so he will be racing at the dirt tracks here soon."

The big news! A new segment with a big name!

Crumbl and The Honest Food Guy are teaming up to bring you guys HONEST reviews on the new cookies that hit each week!

The owner of Brandon/Sarasota and I have been talking and on Mondays The Honest Food Guy will be bringing you HONEST smash or pass on the new weekly special menu that come out.

I haven't been a big Crumbl fan yet to be honest however this is a chance for me to give my real opinions of their new cookies and find some I really like! I feel that I'm the perfect fit to tell you about the new product.

To be transparent, as I always am, I want to let the people who put their trust in me know how this will work. I am the same person from day one and will continue to do so with this new adventure.

- This will be 💯 real and honest thoughts while remaining respectful even when I pass. Partnerships do NOT effect my review.

Bellies Kitchen does meal preps now! Mind Blown!

They drop a new menu every Tuesday and accept orders until Friday. They cook everything fresh on Saturdays and then you pick up on Sunday!

Their mission is to provide good quality food that’s healthier for you, is portion controlled, and is still cheaper than running to McDonald’s on your lunch break
