Pennsylvania beef farmers collectively raise over 1.6 million head of beef cattle — making Pennsylvania the largest beef producing state in the Northeast!

This month we get to highlight the farmers behind the food and recognize the work they do to bring nutritious, high-quality steaks, briskets, ribs, and burgers to your plate. 🥩

If you know a beef farmer, ask them if they will give you a tour of their farm this month — you might even be able to purchase your beef directly from them!

Spring has sprung and cows are calving!

A little delayed in posting but we’re moving right along with calves arriving every few days. We hear that the neighbors who walk past the fields are comparing notes on calf totals. 😉

Weather is warming up and the pastures and fields are starting to green up. The cows and chickens are going to be so happy to have fresh grass. Stay tuned for calving season 2026!

Happy New Year!

We’re kicking it off with a cold snowy morning filled with gorgeous sunshine. 🌞

The cattle don’t mind the cold and spend most of their day outside of the barn, returning only to get water and eat.
