First of all, don't judge my hair. I had just come inside from feeding and water animals in this ridiculous heat and my hair doesn't care about the camera.
Secondly, you don't need fancy equipment to wash wool. So don't overthink it if you're wanting to try the process yourself. Just do it!
Lastly, Sandra has my favorite wool scour and I highly recommend it!

I told my husband that I really wished I had a skirting table for cleaning wool. So him and my father-in-law ran off to the store and made me one! I feel so loved!

Cleaning wool as a family was so fun! For the dirtier fleece, the kids put on some rubber gloves and had a great time picking out the dirtiest bits! Next will be washing the fleece in the sink!

I found so many different and beautiful fiber types to blend in with our llama and mohair! If you think being a vendor makes me immune to all of the other amazing finds at fiber festivals, you might be shocked to see all of the shopping bags from other booths under our table!

I do a great job making sure it's never boring around here. This cheviot wool is going to be so fun to play with! Let the knitting, crocheting, spinning, and all fiber crafts commence!!

It probably doesn't surprise anyone that I got distracted in the process of cleaning up the studio... but at least super cool stuff was made!
