Great Granddam won 1st in class at the Minnesota State Fair in 2021. In 2024, one of her barrows recieved Reserve Champion at The Premiere in Austin, Mn. We sent a barrow out to Montana, which received Grand Champion Middleweight Barrow at The Central Montana Fair. A gilt from the same litter (Disruption x Deal With It) won Grand Champion Purebred Breeding Gilt, and Reserve Champion Overall Breeding Gilt at the Brown County Fair. We bred that gilt back to Main Man from Premium Blend. She farrowed out a barrow who won numerous Champion and Reserve Champion breed titles, and a 4th Overall Market Barrow at Dakota County Jackpot in the Minnesota Youth Swine Series. At the end of the summer, he was the Grand Champion High-Point barrow of the MYSS series. The same barrow was brought to the Minnesota State Fair and recieved 2nd in class during the 4-H encampment, Champion Duroc Barrow, and 3rd Overall MN Purebred Futurity Market Barrow during the MN Barrow Classic encampment. He then won Champion Duroc Barrow and Grand Champion Overall Market Barrow at the MN State Fair FFA Encampment. Another achievement was winning 4th Overall Market Hog at the Star Spangled Banner Expo in Windom, MN. A littermate from the same litter also won 4th Overall Breeding Gilt at the Star Spangled Banner Expo. Another littermate we sold out in Montana won Grand Champion Heavyweight Market Hog at The Central Montana Fair. The genetics of our Durocs have been going up hill for the past couple years, and we cannot wait to see the turn out of this year. From the look of this litter, we think it is going to be a good summer!
