Unfortunately Mother Nature has decided that she wants to be on Santa's naughty list for Christmas as she gave us freezing rain and ice last night and over night so we are canceling our Christmas festivities scheduled for this afternoon. No one wants or needs a broken bone for Christmas. We will schedule something later when it gets warmer!!!! Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!!!

We are really looking forward to Grand National this year and our youngsters taking the big stage. We had a good Jubilee highlighted by Rebecca Kwedar's three year old pleasure driving horse, HAE Cyclone, winning the UPHA Three Year Old Pleasure Driving Classic, and Renee Page's stallion and son of SpiceOLife Present Tense GCH, Delirium, winning the Pleasure Driving Championship. Hard to believe it all starts in 4 weeks tomorrow!!!!

We have been a little remiss adding to this page on Facebook as we have been using Diane Conrady or SpiceOLife Present Tense's page to do most of our postings.

There has been a lot of activity at Diane Conrady Stables over teh summer. Ali Egan had her two year old (now) gelding here from late spring until recently learning basics for the two year old year.

We have added Millstone Morgans (Tony Alagna and friends) as well as Michelle Crawford as clients. We are excited about your two year olds and yearling.

We have witnessed a wonderful Morgan Weanling Gala with all three of the "DW" kids finishing in the top ten with Brenda Matusik's filly taking home reserve honors.

We are looking forward to Grand National and will try and keep this page updated with all of the activity from there. However, if we don't, you can always go to Diane Conrady's page or SpiceOLife Present Tense's page to see what is going on.

Thank you again to all who have offered memories, condolences, sympathies, well -wishes, etc. on the untimely passing of "DW". While we have tried to either "like" or comment or respond to all of them, we are sure that we have missed some. It is not intentional by any means. We have been overwhelmed by the outpouring of the Morgan and horse community. We would also like to thank our clients who have been great and my fellow professional trainers who have been very supportive.

We are working on getting our footing back. We appreciate everyone's patience as we re-group and figure everything out. We also appreciate people giving us some space as we work through the grief process. As you can imagine losing both his sire, Arboria Noble Victor, and "DW" was quite a blow in a short period of time. While, at his age, one cannot say that Victor's passing was totally unexpected at some point - losing a loved one is always difficult. With "DW" it was completely unexpected and that sometimes is more difficult to process.

We are very excited to see all the current and upcoming foals of "DW" - that keeps a part of him very much alive for us. We see him in every single one of them - his heart, his talent, his personality. We are also excited for the youngsters that we have here at the barn that are just starting their careers. We have one in particular whose barn behavior is a carbon copy of his late sire's barn behavior and that brings us smiles.

This is what it is all about!!! Happy girl; happy horse. Sold Hannah "KJ" last fall. He is out of my mare, Arboria Victory Lane. I had started him and he went home with her to Florida last Nov. Here he is with her after her first "training show class" with his first blue ribbon. We think it is the first of many to come. He will be coming back to me for some more work while Hannah is away for work. I am so pleased that they are doing so well together.

We are continuing to offer specials on breeding to WC Spice O Life Present Tense GCH that includes payment arrangements if you need them.

We are also participating in the training portion of this effort as well. The training effort is to offer a discounted training rate for a period of 4 months for starting colts. In addition to the discount for starting colts, I am also continuing to offer my "New Start" training special for aged horses as well - committ to three months and pay for two. Whether you are looking to take your horse to the show ring or be able to enjoy your horse at home, I will work with you. Offering for your consideration - Arboria Awesome Again. This stunning three year old Park stallion is being offered for sale as his owner has decided to "retire" from the horse show business. Big, black, and beautiful describe him to a tee. Well broke, he is suitable for a junior exhibitor or amateur. The attached video is of his class at this year's Jubilee where Lyle Wick catch rode him. As you will see, he lost a shoe on the reverse prior to his canter, but picked up the lead without any issues.
