Meet "Merlin Mcflair"!

Big thanks to all who gave name suggestions! Thanks to you, I have a whole King Arthur/Wild West theme planned for naming goats next year!

Merlin is home with us now after a long day trip to pick him up yesterday. He is going to hang out with Mr. Sandy Sandstorm (one of our cart goats in training) till he gets big enough to compete with my older kids.

We are so excited to be able to add his genetics to our herd!

Our herd goals are:

1. A healthy goat that thrives in our rotational pasture setting with minimal medical interventions.

2. High milk production - over a 1.5 gallons daily per doe is the current goal.

3. Width - Wide udders and general body width.

Ps. We also came home with another goat, but more about her later!

Alright folks, I need fancy name suggestions for this gorgeous little buckling.

What have you got?!

This amazing guy is coming home to our farm from Cattle Company on April 25th and we need to register him.

Camelot Cattle CO Oliver Wood is his sire and Dam is Camelot Cattle Co Beretta.

His genetics are full of some big names including Wingwood, Saada, Tamaris Farm and Kastdemur's.

We are going to have some beautiful babies to offer next spring!
