We’re out here in the rain. Grab an umbrella, and put on your rain boots, because you ain’t made of sugar, so you won’t melt! But my gluten free goodies are. 10% of proceeds go to today! So many of you know I also teach, it’s my calling, a passion, and my life’s work. About a month ago, we started a garden club at my school with and it’s been an amazing experience for the kids, and for me!

The young lady who started this foundation has a passion for educating youth in how to grow their own food; a skill we all need today, more than ever.

She noticed the discrepancy between largely white schools, and their gardening programs, and the opportunities afforded our youth of color. I teach in a school in which 99% of our students are Black/African-American. These students deserve similar opportunities, and you can make a difference. How you may ask?

Tomorrow will be a gorgeous day so head on out to and pick up some Chai Spice or Lavender Granola. My fave is lemon yogurt and lavender granola! Add berries and omg!!!

I will also be all baked goods this Saturday!

Thank you to everyone who came out and supported yesterday! Next week will be a gluten free lover’s dream! I’ll be bringing back gf/df Lemon Lavender Bread with a lemon lavender glaze, and Gf Strawberry Chocolate Chip Muffins! The kids were tearing those up, and some adults too….😀

Don’t need gluten free? No problem, you won’t be able to tell my goodies are gluten free.

I’d like to say a really big thank you to and for the catharsis you helped provide yesterday. It was our first market of the 2026 season, and the night before, as I was busy preparing, our dog became very ill. To be honest, I didn’t get to glaze breads, or do other things I’d planned on doing, because Bear, our sweet boy went downhill very quickly. At only 2 years old, our boy passed away at the emergency vet just hours before we had to be at the market.

We knew we needed to show up, and even though .know.what.im.saying pushed me to go, I didn’t want to. I struggled the whole day, and I’m still struggling.

But, once again, you showed up, and showed who you really are. Customers with dogs who found out about our loss, or who didn’t know at all, stopped to let us pet their dogs, and we shared stories. It helped. Your kindness, especially the kindness that surrounds that market in particular, shone through.

With utter gratitude, for your smiles, your kind words, your dogs that you let us pet, your patronage, and your persistent support of local, I look forward to the 2026 season with you.
