Where can you eat sushi, play with fire, and have a great time all at once? 🔥🍣🥷

Hey guys, it’s Ryan. Today we’re at Ninja Japanese Sushi Bar and Steakhouse, and this place delivered.

We started with a Bikini Martini, Strawberry Smash, and an Ube Gin & Tonic. Sweet, colorful, and the perfect mood setter. 🍸🍓💜 Shawn’s ube drink was a hit, then we went straight into Japanese dumplings. Can’t go wrong. 🥟

Family-friendly vibe, fun energy, and the food kept coming. Crab rangoons were scrumptious. 🦀🧀 The sashimi bowl on ice had thick slices of tuna, salmon, and tilapia. Fresh, beautiful, and it made my night. 🐟❄️

Sushi on a boat. Hibachi with soup and salad. Our chef was super nice, talented, and kept us entertained the whole time. Steak, chicken, and shrimp all cooked fast and tasted great. 🥩🍗🍤🔥

The Jumanji roll had serious flavor. The Alaska King roll came out on this wild display and I still figured it out. 🍣✨ The bento box looked classic, and that steak was incredibly juicy. Don’t skip dessert, and definitely check the Scorpion bowl. 🍨🦂🍹

South Italy vibe in The Grove?? 🇮🇹✨ Date night at Baia. 💕🍝

Baia

Mocktails were fine… just a little underwhelming. 🍹😐
Seared scallops were HUGE and tasty… but too salty. 🧂🐚 The corn puree helped balance it out. 🌽
Focaccia?? Great. 🍞🔥
Sorpresine with smoked lamb ragu + house-made ricotta smelled incredible and that ricotta carried the whole dish. 🐑🧀🤌
The 18oz pork chop was the winner. 🏆🥩 Herbed, breadcrumbed, loaded with arugula, citrus vinaigrette on top. Giant portion. Super satisfying. I’d order it again. 🍋🥬
Baia’s pretty decent. Worth a try.👌

Giant pastry 🥐 curry 🍛 and a breakfast sandwich 🥪… same spot??

Looks like nothing from the parking lot 😐
Walk inside and boom — coffee, butter, fresh bread ☕🧈🍞

That pastry case is stacked 😍
Stopped us first: a $4 Curry Clamshell 🤯
Crispy buttery pastry + real curry = I was not ready 🔥

Best $4 I’ve spent in a minute 💰

Then the Egg Bacon Greens Sando 🥓🥚
Texture was crazy. Crunch. Soft egg. That bacon. Whole meal 🤌

And the Pastéis de Nata?? GIANT 👀
Creamy in the middle, flaky on the outside 💛 You have to try one.

So much left in that case. We’re going back 🔁

Where can you cool down during all this heat!? 🥵❄️🍧

Today I’m at Ice Cave & Bubblecup Tea Zone in the Central West End trying some new menu items 🧋✨

Ice Cave STL

Started with the Mango Pineapple Shaved Ice with mango popping boba 🥭🍍 — wow. The mango HITS YOU IN THE FACE 💥 Super refreshing 😍

Then the Taro shaved ice with tapioca boba 💜🧋 This was OUR FAVORITE 🏆 Silky smooth like real ice cream and so satisfying. Don’t skip this one 🤤

Finished with the Hawaii Sunset Slush 🌅 — papaya, pineapple & watermelon with cherry popping boba 🍒🍉🍍
