But now that I’ve realized I’ve unintentionally brought in a host of new weeds with the dirt I picked up last year… well… I just can’t leave it this way.

Almost 2 weeks ago I received the news the farm holding onto my goats had a farm emergency and needed the pen they were staying in.
Helping hands came together, from all over, friends, family, and even strangers to build something simple and safe, warm and adequate. Not the fancy barn I have in my dreams, with the big pasture in the woods, but what we needed.

God is so good to me, placing all of these generous souls in the right places and right times. I couldn’t be more grateful to all those beautiful strong hands and clever minds, working together. For the farm they came from, the friend who gave shelter when we were in need, my parents and families endless support, neighbors pitching in, friends who just happen to have the item we need, or the skill, and so many others! ✨🙏✨

They are home, they are safe, I’m learning how to care for them properly, rebuilding trust, and my heart just overflow daily. I still have so much knowledge to gain, and a rhythm to find, but truly, I’m grateful and humbled by the selfless ways people can show up. 🥹
