My mother taught me how to bake at a very young age. Licking the spoon, yes I loved it! I loved the smells, I loved using the hand be**er, I loved measuring, watching it bake and tasting the finished product. But most of all I loved sharing this time with my mom. So, I learned how to make her specialties and my grandmother's specialties. Then when I married into an Italian family, the inevitable h
appened. This Polish girl learned to bake biscotti! I learned on my own and made a cookbook recipe into my own recipe. I am known as the Polish girl who makes biscotti! Over the years I have experimented with different flavors and have come up with my favorites. I bake with the freshest ingredients, down to shelling the nuts myself! As I watched my dad not able to enjoy a dessert at our family parties because he was a diabetic and could not eat sugar, I made it my quest to come up with baked goods for him to enjoy. I offer biscotti with no sugar as well as many other no sugar breads and pies. I love to make people happy, and who isn’t happy when they are enjoying a delicious treat!
