🥒 Pickle season is in full swing! 🥒

We LOVE pickles around here! This is my third batch in just two weeks, and we’re trying three different recipes to see which one becomes our family favorite. There’s nothing better than opening a jar of homemade pickles made from fresh garden cucumbers!

Now I need your help… What else do you make with all your cucumbers? Besides fresh slices, relish and pickles, I’d love to hear your favorite recipes or ways to preserve them. Drop your ideas in the comments! 🥒💚

Has anyone ever tried jalapeño strawberry cowboy candy? 🍓🌶️

I’m giving it a try today, and I can’t wait to taste it! The combination of sweet strawberries and spicy jalapeños sounds so good, and I’ve heard it’s incredibly versatile.

Here are just a few ways to enjoy it:
🧀 Pour it over cream cheese, goat cheese, or smoked cream cheese and serve with crackers or fresh bread.
🍔 Use it as a sweet-and-spicy topping or glaze for burgers, hot dogs, pulled pork, tacos, ribs, or grilled chicken.
🌽 Spoon it over cornbread or biscuits, or stir it into cornbread batter for an extra burst of flavor.
🍨 Add it to a charcuterie board or even top a scoop of vanilla ice cream for a unique sweet-and-heat treat.

Meet Myrtle! Myrtle is a 4-month-old Red-footed Tortoise and is as cute as can be. Right now, this tiny little one can fit right in the palm of your hand! We can’t wait to watch Myrtle grow and be part of all the adventures here on the farm.

There’s nothing better than homemade relish made with fresh vegetables straight from our garden. 🌱🥒 It’s so rewarding to turn all that hard work into something delicious, and I can’t wait to give this batch a try!

The garden is in full swing, and we’re loving every minute of it! 🌱🍉🍅🌽

The watermelons are growing, the cucumbers are climbing, the tomatoes are ripening, the peppers are thriving, and the corn is getting taller every day. There’s nothing quite like watching months of hard work turn into a beautiful harvest.

Did you know it takes guinea fowl eggs 26 to 28 days to hatch. Longer than a chicken egg. We are day 27 and have 4 babies out of 13.

🍓🌱 Garden update from the farm! 🌱🥒

We finally got all the strawberries replanted and they are settling in beautifully! 🍓❤️ The cucumbers are also coming up so nice and growing stronger every day. Nothing beats watching the garden start to thrive after all the hard work!

We’re excited for fresh berries, crunchy cucumbers, and all the goodness this season will bring. 🌞🚜
