Are you ready? Set your alarms and get your lists ready our SWEET PEA SEEDS are coming!!!! Our SWEET PEA & HARDY ANNUAL SEED SALE starts tomorrow at 9am PT!

A few things to note before tomorrow’s sale:
1.) I will be taking the website down tonight at 8pm so that I can start loading all of our inventory.
2.) All of our varieties will say Sold Out/Coming Soon until the sale goes live at 9am tomorrow.
3.) You will not need a password to shop the sale, the website will automatically go live at 9am.
4.) Seed orders will begin shipping immediately! Bulb orders do not start shipping until the 15th so if you want to get your seeds ASAP please place separate orders for seeds & bulbs.
5.) Shipping for just seeds is $5. If you order bulbs or other items the shipping cost will be adjusted accordingly.

We have been working incredibly hard harvesting, cleaning & packaging our seeds for this sale and we can’t wait to send them out into the world. See you tomorrow!

Happy first day of fall ya’ll! Now that fall is here it’s time to get ready for fall sowing your sweet peas! Now some of you might be wondering should I be fall sowing or can I fall sow? Fall sowing is for USDA zones 8 & above where winters usually stay above 20F (6C). If you live in any of those zones you can start your sweet peas anytime from late September to November. The key with sweet peas is knowing your zone, the timing in when to start your seeds and what varieties are best for your area. Growing sweet peas over the winter has many benefits as they like the cooler temps and actually prefer to be grown cold. Remember, the flowers may be fragile but the plants are tough!

If you’re going to be fall sowing your seeds and you live in an area that gets warm in the spring really quick I highly recommend growing early flowering sweet peas or Early Multiflora varieties. I don’t think that these varieties get near the attention & love that they deserve. They only require 10-11 hours of sunlight to induce the bloom cycle and are perfect for anyone that is trying to beat the heat or wanting to extend their season looking for earlier blooms.

Known for their long stems & great fragrance, early flowering sweet peas can be a game changer! So if you haven’t tried them before, give them a try! We’ve got a TON of seeds of these beauties that will be available at our SEED SALE on 9/24 at 9am. Early Multifloras not only will give you earlier blooms but could make the difference in being able to grow sweet peas where you are.

Stanwood/Camano kiddos…. do you want to take your teachers flowers for the first day of school? We are so excited to celebrate this upcoming school year we are giving FREE FLOWERS FOR TEACHERS!!! We love our Stanwood/Camano community and all that our teachers, educators and administrators do for our kids. So bring your kids and stop by the farm, we will be open tomorrow, Tuesday, September 1st from 10-3. We’ll have flowers and mason jars and the kids can put together a bouquet for their teachers for free!
