It’s a lot of miles, but getting these future guardians to the right families who truly need them is exactly why we do this ❤️

The hardest, most beautiful part of what we do. Two of our pups are officially on their way to their forever homes.

​It’s always a bittersweet mix of heartbreak and pure excitement. Raising this breed is a massive honor, but the best part is the relationships we build. To our new owners: we aren't just here for the pickup, we are a text or call away for life. Thank you for joining the family and loving them as much as we do. Go do big things ❤️ EMR

It is incredibly hot, dry, and windy today, and everyone is hiding out in the shade. I sneaked up to get a quick video of the critters and our three LGDs completely passed out.
​The peace only lasted a few seconds, though. A ewe bawled, Titan woke right up, and he immediately barked at this human invading his pasture. 😂 Stay cool out there, everyone

Happy 7th Birthday to our beloved retired Turkish Import, Princess 🐾

​We’ve been blessed to own Princess for a few years, but she has completely captured our hearts. She came into our lives through her first owner, John Cruz, who loved her deeply. Though John has passed away, we will forever honor his wishes and stand proudly by the incredible legacy she has given to this breed.
​Princess is loving her retirement, taking wonderful care of all the tiny newborn lambs. She is the real deal and the embodiment of everything we love about these dogs. We pour our hearts into preserving this breed and upholding its integrity, just as Princess does every day. This extraordinary girl has more than earned her place here, and Emerald Mtn Ranch will be her forever home and final resting place.
​We love you, Princess! 🎂❤️🐑

The pups had their well-puppy exams yesterday and we're happy to report they all checked out healthy and doing great🐾

Today our first pup heads to his new home in Montana. It's always bittersweet watching them leave, but we're excited for the adventures ahead.
