Sunpower Farm

For those of you who followed up with me about the farm to table I mentioned a while ago - this is the farm! They are incredible and at a GREAT price point. If anyone from the neighbourhood is wanting anything, I can collect for you as I board my horse here, this should eliminate the delivery cost!

This year is coming to an end quickly. What an incredible season it has been! We are officially taking orders for the New Year!! We are excited to announce that we will be adding pork to our repertoire in the new year! Stay tuned for more information! We are proud to be working with several fine establishments as a farm to table supplier. We also have our own farm to table market for personal orders! We have the capacity to cater for large orders, but we do request orders are placed well in advance. Please think of us the next time you are looking for something farm to table, and keep an eye out on restaurant menus for our name!

Just finished making Shrimp Sagnaki with Olive Tomato Sauce over Israeli Couscous... smells divine and tastes amazing!!

Love my garlic press - nothing better than cooking with fresh garlic cloves and being able to mince it in seconds while in the midst of cooking a yummy meal!!!

Last night the husband and I made Lemony Pan-Seared Chicken with Pesto, Peas and Potatoes... Was scrummy as always! Today the left overs made for a wonderful lunch for work :)

Tonight I made Cumin-spiced Steak with Scallion Dressing and Spinach Couscous Salad. It was my first time making "Israeli Couscous" but boy was it delicious! Another delicious meal for the books!!!

I'm not going to lie... it was the first time I've ever used my microplane, but boy it was perfect when getting my lemon zest! Thank you Pampered Chef, once again, for your amazing kitchen helpers!!

I absolutely LOVE my mix 'n scrapers, and tonight I used my mini to help make the scallion dressing, along with my PC one cup glass bowl :) too yummy for words!!

I freaking ♡ my stoneware! I made chicken orzo with cheesy zucchini and tomatoes for dinner tonight... my veggies and cheese were cooked to perfection - I feel it's near impossible to burn stuff when using my stoneware!

I can never say enough about my non-stick executive cookware, but tonight I want to brag about my chef tongs - they are awesome! I enjoy cooking one handed, and these guys have a nifty locking and un-locking mechanism for those of us who like to cook with a glass of good wine... in our other hand ;) so useful! love, love, love them so much!!

Another delicious meal... Hunan Cumin Beef Stir Fry with Red Cabbage over Jasmine Rice ♡ absolutely DELICIOUS!!!

I saved some time by using my garlic press on both the garlic and fresh ginger and my citrus press on the fresh limes! Once again, my non-stick executive cookware doesn't disappoint! Even packed my work lunch in a glass leak-proof container! Ensures no leaks and maintains freshness! Cannot sing enough praise about my stoneware - cooked to perfection, every time!!

In honour of HELP WHIP CANCER - Pink Lemonade Margaritas!

1 (12 ounce) can of frozen pink lemonade concentrate, thawed
3 (12 ounce) cans of cold water – (just use the empty pink lemonade can)
1 (12 ounce) can of tequila
1/2 (12 ounce) can of Grand Marnie
Ice cubes – or crushed ice
Salt to rim the glasses
1 lime, wedged

Pour the (thawed) frozen lemonade concentrate into Quick Stir pitcher, and fill the can with cold water.
Pour into the pitcher and repeat twice for a total of 3 cans of water.
Fill the can with tequila, and pour that into the pitcher.
Fill about half of the can with Grand Marnier, and pour it into the pitcher.
Chill in the fridge for at least an hour before serving.
Or add crushed ice to pitcher and blend mixture with ice to make a semi-frozen version.
Serve over ice in salt-rimmed glasses with a lime wedge!
