Pigs on pasture! They've learned to respect the electric fence so they have been let loose on the large woods and pasture area. Watermelon for a snack and lots of belly rubs, a new mudhole and plenty of sunshine to enjoy. This is how pigs should live. Happy and free to wander their domain. Love it.

Our 5 Narragansett turkeys are 5 weeks old now and growing beautiful feathers. Very skittish but relax once I sit for a while. One larger possible male is the head of the group and the chattiest. Fun to watch a different animal grow.

Meat chickens are 6 weeks old now, and finally made it to electric fencing. They'll get moved every few days as they dig...

Meat chickens are 6 weeks old now, and finally made it to electric fencing. They'll get moved every few days as they dig, forage, and soak up the sunshine. Couple more weeks and we'll be done with this first round of birds. Some parted, some whole, some sold.
