Thick Butts BBQ was at it again! We actually got to stay at our hometown Stillwater this time. We had a great time with some BBQ family and friends at the Payne County Rib Cook Off Association Cook Off in Stillwater, OK. Thick Butts took 5th in St. Louis Style Ribs, 9th in Wings and a not so good 27th in Baby Back Ribs. We did get 12th in Overall. Want to say congratulations to all the cooks that walked! Congratulations to Richard Getchius for his 2nd place in St. Louis Ribs and Greg Mitchell for getting 1st in St. Louis Ribs which was his 1st win in ribs. Congratulations to Bobby Oliver for getting Grand Champion!

Thick Butts BBQ in Clinton, OK for the Rib Cook Off Association Lucky Star Casino Cook Off in Clinton, OK. Yes, it was hot but we got our smoke on! We got 6th in the St. Louis ribs and not so good 21st with our Baby Back ribs. We teamed up with Getchiusum BBQ Richard Getchius to do the people's choice. We got 3rd with the Buffalo Quesadillas and Special Sauce. A big congratulations to Richard Getchius taking 1st in the Baby Back ribs.

Thick Butts BBQ at it again at Rib Cook Off Association El Reno Smoke on the Water Boat Races and BBQ! We took 3rd place in the St. Louis Style Ribs and 7th place in wings! 4th in a row of making the top 3 in ribs.

Big shout out to Richard Getchius and Chris Beggs for helping me out in a pinch! Also, a huge thank you to Greg at JR's BBQ Supply for bringing us the seasonings we needed!

Thick Butts BBQ team did another Rib Cook Off Association cook off in Elk City, OK at the Route 66 festival. We placed 2nd in the baby back rib category, 12th in the St. Louis rib category and 3rd in the wing category. Big shout out and congratulations to our buddies Ed Coughlan, Richard Getchius, Chris Beggs and Greg Mitchell on their walks. It was great to see and cook with y'all!
