Noah has really done a great job with this mare, she’s given him some trials but he’s seen her through every one. Noah really likes this horse for her grit and athleticism.

[Lot # 9] Agape Patty Bert aka “Faith” is a really nice put together little sorrel mare. Her and Paul have made a neat team to watch flourish over the course of this years colt class. Paul came to class never being around horses, full of grit, and ready to give us his best everyday. When asked what horse he would choose if he could ride any in the pen, Paul said he’d choose Faith all day long.

[Lot #4] Agape Cutter Leo aka “Leo” is the flashy palomino with the dappled coat. Being Cutter Bill bred he’s another of our “good ole boys.” He’s quiet, easy to be around, and has been a great match for Steven. Steven has an affinity for animals and came to colt class to be around horses. Leo has given him purpose and helped teach him responsibility. They make a great team. We’d love for you to come see them work together at this years sale!

[ Lot #5] Cutters Jazz aka “Jazz.” We like our Cutter Bills around here and Jazz is a perfect example why. He shows a lot of potential tracking the smarty and working cows. Jazz has that combination of a good mind and athleticism that makes a great all-around ranch horse. Don’t overlook him because “he’s just a sorrel.” Wait until you see how good he looks under saddle!
Jazz has been ridden mainly by our student Preston. His enthusiasm to ride his horse and be in class is evident everyday. We also have a young man named Melvyn who has recently started riding Jazz as well. Melvyn’s horse unfortunately didn’t make it to the sale due to injury, but we couldn’t let Melvyn go without a horse because for a boy whose never been around horses, he’s shown a lot of natural talent. Through being in class both boys have learned the value of working hard, valuable life lessons, and have matured into some amazing young men. They both love riding Jazz and we think you will too!

[ Lot # 21 ] Cutter Bill Junior aka “BJ”
FULL DISCLOSURE BJ has scar tissue on one front leg from an injury this summer. It’s healed and we’ve been able to ride him; walk, trot, lope, he’s been completely sound. If you want to know more about this particular injury don’t hesitate to message or call.

BJ will be the oldest horse on offer this sale. He was started as a three year old then turned out to pasture and used as a stud up until last year, because of which he’s been ridden mostly by staff, but he’s proven himself to be quiet and gentle so he was passed on to our student Damien. Damien is the newest edition to colt class and has jumped in with both feet. He is really eager to learn and apply the knowledge he’s been given. We really enjoy this pairing.

BJ has roped and drug calves in the branding pen, roped calves out in pasture, he hauls well, and stands great for farrier. Come check out this beautiful, stout, bay gelding for yourself!

[Lot #23] ROK Trusty Steed aka “Trusty” is 3 years old, built, and ready to work. This horse has good conformation, plenty of size and bone, and out of all the geldings in this sale he has the most roping experience. Trusty has roped and drug calves in the branding pen, he’s roped calves out in the pasture, and he has a solid start tracking the smarty. He rides out great by himself, hauls well, and stands great for farrier.

[Lot # 15 ] AM Sylvia Hayes aka “Sylvia.”
We think this horse is nice enough that we’ve considered pulling her from the sale to keep back for ourselves, but our loss is your gain. One of the nicest riding horses in the pen. Sylvia won’t be for everyone, however, she has a LOT of feel. She will be great for those who like their horses a bit watchy and reactive. Sylvia has been ridden by several different students and staff but is finishing out this year with our student Wesley. This has been Wesley’s 2nd year in colt class and with his knowledge and confidence has been a good fit for Sylvia. She has challenged Wesley and he’s proven equal to the task.

[Lot #24] Jessies Dun Cat aka “Bootstrap” is proof that sometimes good things come in small packages. He was a really easy colt to start and that easy disposition has stayed with him. Bootstrap has a lot of go, which makes him fun to travel country on. He’s been roped off of and was taken to Wyoming over the summer to brand calves. Jacob is the young man riding him now and he does a great job making this horse the best he can be.

[Lot 28] Bonita is a 3 year old bay mare as graceful and elegant as they come. From her sleek shape to the beautiful way she moves around the arena, she is everything you want in a mare. Being a year older Bonita has had more riding then most of the other horses and the maturity certainly shows. It has helped, Tim, our student who has ridden her this year, overcome his initial fears and grow into a young man who is confident and responsible.

[Lot #11] Apage Pretty Hays aka “Hayley”
is as close to having the full package as they come. She has a good mind, good conformation, a pretty and unique buckskin color, and would you look at those papers! She rides and acts as pretty as she looks. Tremendous cow sense. We love watching this horse track the dummy, work cows, and come out of the box.
Hayley has also had her first set of shoes and stands great for the farrier.
Ethan is the student riding her. This is his first year in colt class and shows a lot of talent for working with horses as he’s done phenomenal with Hayley. He takes a lot of pride in his horse and we believe it shows.

[Lot #10] Agape Gray Dawn aka “Goose.” We are kicking things off today with a mare that is flashy, cowy, and quiet. She has the perfect size, the perfect gray color, and the perfect disposition. Easily a head turner wherever you go. Lucas is our student riding her, a young man full of confidence and personality. He’s always willing to get in there, whatever the job. We’ve really enjoyed the team these two have made together.

[Lot #22] Cutters Smoky aka “Smoky”, at 3 years old shows a lot maturity. If we needed to put a rider on a horse that would take care of them, help them build their confidence, or was just easy to get along with, then Smoky was our gal. She’s athletic, as well as shows some cow sense. She’d also make someone a really nice broodmare. 👀 Just look at that pedigree!
Smoky has been ridden by several students and staff. She’s currently being ridden by Peterson, a student new to class who has excelled and matured as a person.

[Lot # 3] Agape Music Mount aka “Melody” has been a pleasant surprise. She was watchy and reactive in the beginning but has turned into a nice little mare with a lot of feel. She’s only had one rider who has a done great job helping her through her first year under saddle and has created a good horse.
