They say the Lord puts you in the right place at the right time. A conversation that happened by chance turned into an amazing opportunity ❤️

We are very excited to welcome Aspen to the farm!! She is a Katahdin sheep! This type of sheep grows more of hair type coat vs a wool coat which means they don’t need to be shorn so people often mistake them for goats!

We LOVE that we got the opportunity to support a local 4H kid. The 4H and FFA kids work hard on their projects all year. They are the future of agriculture! This is the 2nd year in a row that we’ve purchased from a 4-H kid!

Also, we have a lot of people ask us about purchasing livestock. This time of year is a great time to find quality, friendly, well cared for stock! Go to your local fairs and chat with the 4-H and FFA kids! They love to talk about their animals and, if they don’t have anything available, they can point you in a great direction!! We have a new addition coming to the farm after fair season is over so keep your eyes open 😊

Whenever The Samaritan Shelter of pocomoke has produce left over, after everyone has gotten all that they want, they give us a call so it doesn’t go waste!

We try our best to keep our cost for our services as low as we can so everyone can enjoy them. We understand that life is expensive. We didn’t start making the soap or doing the mobile barnyard to make extra money. We decided to do it to help cover the cost of taking care of the animals that we love. So, today, you can thank the Samaritan Shelter for helping keep our costs down!!

Ashley’s luffa plant has produced its first gourd!!! If everything works out (and she doesn’t tear down the fence and trellis with the tractor again 🙄) this cousin to the cucumber will mature, dry out and be harvested and turned into sponges!!

Someone made the comment the other day that they didn’t know that a sponge could come from a plant! While, yes, you can go to the store and buy a synthetic, plastic luffa puff in a pretty color, these are 100% nature made!!

This is also a reminder that fall is right around the corner 😊🍂🍂 which means Christmas is coming too!! Can you tell what our favorite times of year are?

2 years ago today, we advertised our soap for sale for the first time. Never in a million years did we think it would grow the way it did. One of the coolest little shops on the island has a fresh restock of your favorite goats milk soap! ❤️ We can’t ever leave here without finding something absolutely wonderful! Stock up on your summer scents while you can because 🍂FALL IS COMING🍂 which mean all the wonderful spicy, warm scents will be rolling out soon!!

I mean, we go where we are invited 🤷🏼‍♀️😂 Romeo and Donnie were happy to take a break in the AC after an exhausting day of pets and being cuddled. Once they made their rounds to get acclimated with everyone, they politely laid down and took a nap while we enjoyed some music and a cold beverage.
