It’s been a little while since I’ve done a MEET THE BAKER post, and there are so many new faces here! Let’s get reacquainted 🍪🤎
Hi, I’m Brianna, the owner of CHUNK Long Island! What started as a simple baking hobby turned into my full-time dream & the legacy I’m building, one cookie at a time. 🥰
I’ve been selling cookies for about seven years now. I started pre-COVID era - which is when business really took off. In the midst of it all, I left my career to go all in on Chunk. A whole lot of dough, late nights, and a passion to be my own boss… here we are! 🥹
A few fun facts about the girl behind the cookies:
• I’m a self-taught baker! No formal pastry or culinary education - just plenty of experimenting and taste-testing. 😋
• I was born and raised on Long Island. I’ve lived here my entire life, but I spend my weekends living in the city area with my boyfriend & our dog Lillie 🐾
• I love traveling and exploring new places! ✈️
• I’ve been bodybuilding and in the gym for 19 years!💪
I don’t compete, but I live the lifestyle and love attending shows to support.
• Chunk sponsors tons of bodybuilding shows throughout the Northeast, so when competition season rolls around, come find us and snag your treats 🍪🏆
• I’ve never had a desire to expand to a “storefront” or hire employees. I am a bit of a control nut when it comes to perfection - so I do EVERYTHING. From the pantry restock, baking, bagging and packaging, marketing, advertising, social media, email responses, customer service, in person events, taxes & more. Don’t want help. Don’t need it. I’m fine. Let me bake in peace 😂🫶🏼
• I will never sacrifice the quality of my cookies for quantity. I bake everything in “small batch” with total control over every single cookie. Each handmade, filled & designed.
