Who needs birds ready to go outside!
I have close to laying age pullets and laying hens!

Organic fed since hatch, all hatched by me. No antibiotics, ever. Pullets have seen no medications ever - laying hens have gotten yearly preventative de worming.

I have a handful of 17-18 week old pullets looking for a new coop.
1 Ayam cemani
2 zombies
2 mutts

12ish weekers;
2 ayams

I am also moving some laying hens- some are beginning to molt so keep that in mind-
1 black copper maran
1 that should have been a black copper maran (lays a beautiful dark olive egg though)
2 mutts
1 New Hampshire

Bird processing day. How I love putting meat in the freezer.

With that said I have a beautiful pack of feet, perfect for dog snacks- message me if interested! I give my own dogs the organs but they just don’t know what to do with the feet sadly.

I try not to let anything go to waste here. Meat is for the humans, organs for the dogs, carcasses for broth, and the rest is typically put into the ground to help facilitate new life 🌱.

I am seeing a lot of posts about using fans on animals in this. I was hesitant and upon further research I’m glad I didn’t. Fans are just going to move this crap into your animals faces at an accelerated rate- they aren’t displacing this. Fresh water and extra water bowls early on days it will be bad (this won’t be the last of this) and just try to keep your animals as low stress as possible. For me and mine; that’s minimal checking. I don’t want anyone hopping or moving around extra if they don’t need to. They all need to remain calm and exert as little energy as possible. Stay inside and put your own ac on recirculate. I’ve already seen a friend have an asthma attack today, my head is pounding and my throat hurts and I have avoided being out in it as much as possible. Good vibes to all near and far suffering in this.

I feel like I have been pretty absent here for a while. Don’t worry we’re still here! Still raising lots of birdies. I just suck at marketing. We have decided for our own sanity to skip most of the swaps for the summer. I’m pretty over them; the setting up, the time commitment, and my constant anxiety for other people bringing bio hazards close to my stock. Not to mention, we are a homeschool family- we are very busy. The kids are in sports now, one is a new member of the braces having society, we have a sewing club, do 4H, and we do a good bit of dog training and are looking into getting into showing our newest pup. So downtime is savored here. But I’m always doing meets for birds and eggs. And I have lots available.

🐓 And an endless supply of roosters if you need any!
I can meet most days and with all of our activities taking us all over the 757, don’t be shy to ask when the next time I’ll be in your neck of the woods. Always a possibility we could make each others lives easier!
