After the whirlwind of Maycember, June is bringing a different kind of energy.
More library days. More afternoons by the pool. More time picking flowers, herbs, and vegetables with my kids.
Meanwhile, client gardens are doing what they were designed to do. Harvest baskets are filling up. Families are gathering cucumbers, peppers, herbs, and flowers. Butterflies, bees, and even a few bunnies have found their way into these spaces. I love opening my phone to see photos and videos from clients enjoying the abundance growing right outside their doors.
This month I’ll be checking in on gardens, installing a few more spaces before the peak of summer heat, and beginning to plan for Fall gardens. I’ll also be teaching a few workshops with and .
A slower pace doesn’t mean things stop growing. Sometimes it simply gives us more space to notice what we’ve been cultivating all along.
