Some people have dogs that wait by the door… I have Thanksgiving the turkey.

Every morning she’s standing at the sliding door, staring me down like, “Excuse me, my breakfast is late.”

I may run this farm… but Thanksgiving clearly runs the morning schedule. 🤣

I was in the middle of prepping dinner when I cracked open this beauty—my very first double-yolk egg after two years of raising chickens!

Fun fact: Double-yolk eggs happen when a hen releases two yolks that get enclosed in the same shell. While they’re not an everyday occurrence, they’re a fun reminder that life on the farm is always full of surprises.

Who knew dinner prep would turn into today’s farm adventure? 🐔❤️🌾

Moonshine’s first watermelon taste test! 🍉🐴

I’d say it’s safe to say… we have a new favorite summer snack! 😋

Fun fact: Watermelon is about 92% water, making it a refreshing treat for horses on hot days. As with all treats, moderation is key!
