The meat herd complete with the buck went to their summer pasture with a view yesterday. They grazed this pasture last year and it came back better! I sent one “last chance” dairy doe to live with them. She came up empty bred to a dairy buck last year so this is her last shot before she goes in my freezer.

Last kids of the season 🎉🎉🎉

Miss Mary gifted us with two bucks 🫠. Mary has kidded 8 times in her life and NEVER had a doe kid. It’s getting a bit ridiculous. Good thing she’s a stunning doe and we’ve decided to retain one of these boys for our breeding program. I’ll need to run numbers on our final kid count but will be posting those soon.
