🐷💗🐷 Piglet Foster Time!🐷💗🐷
This year it will look a little different. There are only four piglets available So to give as many families as possible an opportunity this will be a 2 nights sleepover party. You will be given a bag of piglet pellets to feed your piglet. And there is a $50 fee to foster Pickup and drop off is at 10:00 am. This is always a logistical nightmare for me so please respect the time. Please send me a message with piglet foster as the first words. I will reach out when I have your pig ready. Thank you to everyone who participates in this amazing opportunity!!

Happy World Croc Day!

Have you had a chance to meet our Morelet’s crocodile, Crikey? Crikey actually came to us on the anniversary of Steve Irwin’s death—total coincidence, but how could we not name her after one of his favorite catch phrases once we realized it!

Crikey is a beauty but she’s only THIS sweet with Crissy, our owner! If you’ve met her out and about at a party or event though, her mouth was definitely taped shut. This is done for everyone’s safety as that bite definitely would hurt! While crocodilian mouths produce significant force when chomping down, they do not have significant strength opening their mouths making it possible for their mouths to stay securely shut using this simple taping method.

This gal will eventually grow between 6.5-8 feet long and will weigh somewhere between 90-256 lbs. at maturity, making this particular species of crocodile one in the “medium” sized range. In the wild our girl would live to somewhere between 30-50 years (if she survived the juvenile stage), and in captivity Morelet crocodiles may live as long as 60-70 years.

Fun fact: Did you know our girl likes to party? 🐊🥳It’s true! Crikey is available for guest appearances at Birthday parties, businesses, schools, and events around the Lowcountry, and she’d love a chance to meet you! 🥳

All of this excitement and we’ve yet to even get through announcing all of the babies around here!

These kids are growing every day, but if you’ve seen us out and about at an event or party or maybe at the Flowertown Festival you’ve likely had a chance to give them some snuggles already since they’re a couple of months old now.

If you haven’t had the chance to experience the triplets we can assure you you’re missing out on serious cuteness!
