Thank you so much to everyone who stopped by to see us at Flowertown Festival! We were so busy I didn't have a chance to snap photos so thanks to our customers and vendor friends who featured us in their videos and photos. We sold out of honey on Saturday and sold out of other items on Sunday; it was a whirlwind but so much fun! You can find us on Friday and Saturday evenings at the Charleston City Market and monthly at Carnes Crossroads Farmer's Market.

We'll be at Firefly Distillery on Saturday for the Holy City Holiday Market! This is a really neat, large event with multiple shopping locations within a 1 mile vicinity and complimentary shuttle to transport between each venue. Stay tuned as we have some other exciting events scheduled for next week as well!

Josh is making mead!
The process took me back to being a little girl helping my grandfather make homemade wine. Grandpa had a wine cellar where his wine fermented, we do not so the mead it’s sitting in a dark closet and it’s difficult to resist the temptation to keep checking on it 😆. I can’t wait to try it!
April, who makes the Must Bee Mead kit, lives here in Summerville. Her kit can be found online or locally at Coastal Coffee Roasters. Pair the mead kit with some honey and you’ve got a great gift!

A typical week at Old World Bee Works involves cranking up the soap pot, infusing and formulating herbal balms, casting candles and if we're lucky...bottling up Cotton Honey! We've been waiting all year for this honey! We'll have some available at the Charleston City Night Market tonight. If you can't make it there, we can deliver locally or ship. $18 for the large skep bottle in the photo.
